Ben Briggs

Bio:

Ben Briggs has been doing international business in Europe and Asia since 2000. Ben is now based in China serving investors eager to diversify capital into U.S. & European real estate. Ben & his team have helped their extensive list of institutional and HNW investors close around $300 million in real estate assets. Ben’s family has been involved in US real estate for over 60 years.

In 2004, Ben started a leather factory in China where he worked for eight years. This Texas-owned plant produced products for the White House, Neiman Marcus, and the Ritz Carlton. Ben hired and befriended several deaf, handicapped, and Down syndrome employees, and is passionate about using business to benefit the community. While living in China, Ben met his wife Jenny, and they now have three children.

Prior to China, Ben worked in London for Dallas-based Electronic Data Systems UK. Ben completed his Computer Science degree in 2000 from Wake Forest University and his MBA at Southern Methodist University in 2014. Ben currently serves as Chairman of the Board of his local church and Founder of an anti-human trafficking NGO.

Ben was a co-founder of Coverity, a software quality and security company birthed from his research as a PhD student at Stanford. Coverity attracted investment from the likes of Benchmark Capital and Foundation Capital, employed hundreds of people, and, in 2014, was acquired by Synopsys. Ben served as both COO and CTO, defining product strategy and working closely with customers and the press and analyst communities.

He’s been named to ComputerWorld’s Top 40 under 40 Innovative IT Professionals and is in the Stanford Inventor Hall of Fame. Ben has lived every part of the entrepreneurial cycle and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience. As part of this work, Ben also heads up the Venture Lab at the nonprofit Praxis, helping serial entrepreneurs research and develop new organizations from the moment of inspiration to incorporation.

 

Ben Erskine

Ben Erskine is a Partner at Sovereign’s Capital and previous Managing Principal of Callis Capital. Ben has spent the past 16 years in the real estate industry working on both the brokerage and investment sides of the business. For much of his career, Ben has and continues to serve as a Managing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), a fortune 200 global real estate services company.
