Bio:
With more than a dozen years of professional experience in the areas of impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and international development, Endel is passionate about empowering clients with the tools, knowledge, and insights to deploy their capital in ways that are both purposeful and profitable.
Prior to founding Nexus Impact Advisors, Endel was a strategy consultant for The Carpenter’s Fund, an impact investment intermediary that connects Christian investors with values-aligned investment opportunities around the world. He also served as a senior consultant to Global Health Visions, a boutique consulting firm that provides expertise and guidance in the formulation and implementation of global health initiatives. In these roles, Endel oversaw a range of in-depth research and advisory projects including organizational evaluations, investment due diligence, landscape & market analyses, strategic planning, and investment vehicle structuring. He has expertise in applying mixed-methods research tools and in-depth analysis to develop evidence-based, data-driven, actionable results for clients.
Endel formerly served as the director of communications at America Abroad Media, an international affairs media firm based in Washington, D.C. Before this, Endel worked as senior officer at the John Templeton Foundation, where he managed the Foundation’s market-based solutions to poverty and agricultural biotechnology portfolios. Endel began his career as an account manager and client advisor at the international philanthropic advisory firm Geneva Global.
Having traveled to more than 50 countries, Endel has broad experience in the areas of impact investing, international development, and global health. While living and working as a missionary in Cochabamba, Bolivia, he founded Niños con Valor, an organization working to improve the lives of at-risk Bolivian children. Endel attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He is fluent in Spanish.
Endel and his wife, Kate, live in Washington, D.C. and are active members of Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, Virginia.
