An experienced professional in the specialty area of Biblically Responsible Investing, Loran provides investment advice and financial planning services to individuals and families in the Spokane community, the greater Pacific Northwest region, and other states around the country. Loran is also a licensed life insurance agent in Washington and California. Loran is passionate about serving with excellence and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

In 2009, Loran became a Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®). Certified members of Kingdom Advisors are individuals who have demonstrated themselves to be believers in Jesus Christ, able to apply Biblical wisdom in counsel, technically competent, ethical and of integrity, and committed to practicing biblical stewardship in their personal and professional life. Loran is also a published author.

Before establishing his practice as an independent financial advisor focusing on faith-based investing, Loran served for five years as First Vice-President of an institutional money management firm in Santa Monica, California, where he gained valuable experience in investment research and management.  Loran’s first introduction to the investment business was in 1999 while working as an auditor for Arthur Andersen, and later Ernst & Young LLP, where he planned and supervised audits of investment management firms and banks in the Los Angeles area.

Loran received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in Political Science with a Specialization in Business Administration. Additionally, Loran met the rigorous accounting and business educational requirements to earn the CPA license and CFP® certification.

Loran enjoys being active in his local community, having served most recently as an elder and finance team chair for Whitworth Church. Loran has also served on many non-profit boards in Spokane in past years, including the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery board of trustees, the Northwest Christian Schools Foundation planned giving committee, YMCA of the Inland Northwest corporate board of directors, Innovia Foundation (formerly known as the Inland Northwest Community Foundation) investment committee, and Christ Kitchen’s mission impact committee. Loran is also a member of downtown Spokane’s Rotary Club 21, having served on the disability committee and invocation committee.

Luke Bolton

Luke Bolton enjoys serving at the intersection of wealth management and biblical theology. He completed a BA in Theology and an MA in Biblical Studies. After seminary, Luke and his family moved to East Asia where he taught business and theology courses for a year.

In 2007, Luke took a role at Securian Financial in St Paul where he started his career in financial services. At Securian he completed training to become a General Securities Principal (Series 24) and provided regulatory supervision for over 1,000 financial advisors.

He then served as Director of Operations at WaterRock Financial where he supported a financial advisor team with a focus on generosity and investing for impact. While there he served on the LPL/Kingdom Advisor Community’s steering committee to develop a Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) model that was launched at LPL Financial in 2022. He serves on the board for Faith Driven Network of the Twin Cities and facilitates a bi-monthly conversation group for academic theologians and investment managers.

Luke recently accepted a role with Kingdom Advisors as Executive for Strategic Relations where he focuses on institutional relationships.

Luke and his family are members at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. In their free time, they enjoy exploring, reading, and having outdoor adventures in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”.

Keri-Leigh Paschal

Keri-Leigh Paschal is the Executive Trustee and Co-Founder of the Nation Builder Trust. Keri completed her post-graduate studies in biochemistry, specialising in HIV research, and subsequently qualified as an educator.

Whilst working in marketing and development roles, Keri initiated and led a national drive to raise awareness for autism in South Africa – the catalyst for her social investment passion. In 2011, Keri joined Mergon, an investment group that exists to create Kingdom impact and equip others to do the same. Emerging from this Mergon vision, the Nation Builder Trust came into being in 2012.

Nation Builder inspires and equips the business community in South Africa to lead social change. There are three key principles that underpin Nation Builder’s approach – selfless pursuit of a common goal, valuing each person’s unique role and contribution, and moving beyond conversation to collaboration and co-creation.

Nation Builder hosts collaborative events which have brought businesses, civil society, and government together as a force for good. The team also works closely with community partners to co-create resources that add value in the social investment sector. The ultimate goal is to secure a prosperous South Africa for all of its people.

Keri and her husband Brandon are actively involved in church leadership and love to travel, run, and explore the outdoors.

Kevin Harlan

Bio:

Kevin Harlan serves as the vice president of philanthropy at Made to Flourish. He works to build a broad base of philanthropic support and guide philanthropic endeavor to invest financially in pastors and churches.

Kevin played a role in the formation of Made to Flourish, and served on the senior pastoral team at Christ Community Church in Kansas City for 15 years. He and his bride, Sharon, have been involved at Christ Community in many leadership capacities since 1994.

Prior to his work with Christ Community, Kevin served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). During his 19 years with FCA, Kevin held many roles, and served as the executive vice president at the end of his tenure.

Kevin O’Neal is a retired businessman who focuses on non-profits that are expanding the Kingdom of God. He was the COO of a large multi-strategy hedge fund with responsibilities including treasury, accounting, operations, and technology. Prior to this, he was with Perot Investments where he was involved in both private and public investing in technology companies. Kevin completed the Colson Center’s Centurions program in 2005. He, his wife Kelly, and their two children live in Dallas, Texas where he is an active member of St. Paul Lutheran church.
