Bio:

Rusty is an active advisor and Board Director for venture-backed start-ups and philanthropic causes. In September 2014, Rusty was appointed by President Obama to The President’s Advisory Committee for the Arts for The Kennedy Center. Rusty is also the former Chairman of The GRAMMY Foundation in Los Angeles.

Politically, he successfully complete a 16 month leadership role as Coordinating National Co-Chair for Technology for Obama (T4O) for the reelection of President Obama.

Corporately, most recently he was the Chief Executive Officer at SNOCAP, Inc. until the acquisition of the company by imeem, Inc. in April 2008. Before joining SNOCAP in 2005, he was Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Electronic Arts (EA) from 1998 until 2005. He was also with the PepsiCo companies for more than ten years, with the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies for two years, and in commercial radio as an on-air personality for six years. 

Rusty holds an M.S. in counseling and a B.A. in radio and television from Purdue University. In 2003 he was named a distinguished Purdue alumnus, and he and his wife, Patti, are the named benefactors of Purdue’s Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts.  He is a corporate director of Glassdoor and runcoach . He serves as a Trustee of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where he was also Board President.  

He is the co-founder and Executive Committee Member of T4A.org , on the Founding Circle of The Centrist Project and a founding Board Member of The GRAMMY Music Education Coalition. He is also the co-author of the book Talent Force: A New Manifesto for the Human Side of Business.

Scott Calhoun

Bio:

As Managing Director, Scott oversees the growth and expansion of the Family Office division. In addition to his leadership role, Scott has over 25 years experience helping families intentionally design a multi-generational plan for transferring the social, spiritual, and financial capital necessary for the family to thrive. His biblical worldview and uncommon approach in the areas of financial, estate, trust, and investment planning emphasize a principle driven wealth transition that properly prepares and equips each generation.

Prior to joining Ronald Blue & Co. (the predecessor company to Ronald Blue Trust) in 2013, Scott worked as the Executive Vice President of Glenmore Advisors LLC, Regional Director of Convergent Wealth Advisors, and with Synovus Family Asset Management as a Director of the Financial Strategies Unit. He has spoken frequently for the Family Office Exchange (FOX) and other associations on several different topics including Opportunities and Challenges in the Fixed Income Markets and Cutting Edge Developments in the Interaction between Different Disciplines in Private Wealth Management. Scott is also a former United States Marine.

Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters of Accountancy (Tax) and a BBA (Accounting). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTMprofessional, a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), and a Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®).

Life:

Active in his community, Scott is a board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of East Cobb County and previously served on the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business Alumni Board. He is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and is also a Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) Legacy Advisor.

Scott and his wife, Tiffany, have two children and live in Marietta, Georgia.

Scott Friesen is a serial entrepreneur who has started, grown, and sold companies since 1998. He has helped to orchestrate the sale of three of U.S.-based businesses in technology, media, and online advertising. He’s led sales, operations, and technology teams and has a track record of producing consistent growth and profitability.

More recently, he co-founded Verdant Frontiers and has started five companies in Ethiopia with the goal of creating an industrial revolution in the country.

Life:

Scott is the proud co-founder of a family of three children who live together in Austin.

Bio:

Scott Weiss is Chairman and CEO of OCEAN Accelerator, which operates both a hi-tech startup accelerator (OCEAN) as well as a training program for lifestyle entrepreneurs (Unpolished). Scott serves on four company advisory boards and mentors many of the region’s most seasoned entrepreneurs.

Prior to OCEAN, he served 22 years in C-Suite roles at brands including Evenflo, Clorox and P&G.

Shane Enete

Associate Professor | Biola University

Shane Enete has worked as an associate professor of finance at Biola University since 2015. Enete launched the Certified of Financial Planning (CFP) program at the Crowell School of Business where students are trained in the art and science of personal financial planning. Prior to working at Biola, Enete was an investment research professional for 10 years for large institutional asset managers. His duties included valuing public stock securities, modeling asset allocations, and serving as a forensic accountant. Enete currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations and was awarded the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation in 2014. Enete holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Southern California, a M.S. in Mathematical Finance from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and a Ph.D. in financial planning from Kansas State University. His research interests include Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI), charitable giving, and behavioral finance. Shane is married to Tammy, and is father to Sage and Silas. He enjoys any activity near the beach, or in the water, including surfing, swimming, beach volleyball, and triathlons.
