INVESTMENT THESIS

We target out-performance BECAUSE of impact. This paper by Witten Advisors shows Apartment Life teams increase property value on average over $3m dollars. We are layering this performance lift with a compelling asset selection strategy of suburban Class B assets in “Fine Nine” cities that we believe will out-perform the rest of the market. Finally, we are purchasing assets with below average online reputations (think 1-2 stars on Google) to lift their reputation with world-class operations, loving on people with Apartment Life, and sector-leading reputation and revenue management software. We believe this can all come together for potentially low core asset risk.

Wade myers | Entrepreneur, investor, advisor

Wade Myers is a serial entrepreneur, investor, advisor, author, and speaker that has founded, invested in, and been a director of scores of companies and has completed over 100 financing and M&A transactions.

He is the founder and CEO of Capital Works, an award-winning digital investment banking firm, and is also a founder and general partner of Eagle Venture Fund, a global seed capital firm. Wade’s previous ventures include a global SaaS-based big data company and an Inc. 5000 nationwide SaaS-based property management firm that has grown to be the fourth-largest firm in an industry of 6,500 competitors since he founded the company in 2004.

His other work experience includes the Boston Consulting Group and he was a national-level executive at Mobil Corporation. Wade also served as an Airborne Ranger in the US Army where he was a decorated veteran of the Gulf War. He is a Baker Scholar graduate of Harvard’s MBA program and is married with five children. He is a contributor to Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Huffington Post, and Apple News.

  • Our spiritual integration is driven by our partnership with Apartment Life.  Our investment team is mostly current and former board members of Apartment Life.  Our tenants will mostly experience our integration through the Apartment Life teams.  We also start many WayMaker internal team meetings with prayer and seeking The Lord.  We are committed to iterating to more and more spiritual integration in everything we do.
