David founded Invesco Real Estate (IRE) in 1983. As CEO and then advisor to IRE for 32 years between 1983 and 2015, he was responsible for developing the firm’s investment processes, operating policies, staffing, operating philosophy and cultural values. Under David’s direction, the firm grew into a multi-national company with more than 400 employees and more than $70 billion in assets under management, one of the largest and most successful real estate funds management firms in the world.
