Bio:

Prior to co-founding MoxieBridge in 2018, KC Kronbach was co-founder and Managing Partner for Knightvest Capital headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2007, Kronbach helped grow Knightvest Capital into one of the largest multifamily owners in the southwest. Kronbach acquired over $3 billion in real estate investments throughout almost 100 properties totaling approximately 30,000 housing units. Under KC’s stewardship, Knightvest Capital achieved a 9-year net investor IRR north of 30%, making it one of the top investment firms in the southwest.

In late 2015, the Kronbach Family founded the Eleven:11 Foundation. Eleven:11 is a small foundation that is faith-based, family-focused and graciously generous.  Its goal is to help those in need with a generous and faithful heart.  Additionally, KC is an active member of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) and Munger Place Church.

In 1998, KC graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors of Business Administration.  He completed his graduate degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics from St. Edward’s University in 2003.

Ken Barnes

Bio:

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Barnes spent many years as a senior international executive for several multi-billion dollar companies doing business on six continents. He has also served as a bi-vocational pastor in both the United States and the United Kingdom where he holds dual-citizenship.

In 2007 Dr. Barnes began serving as a chaplain and mentor to international graduate students at Oxford University. As part of the Oxford Character Project, the Graduate Christian Union, Trinity Forum and the Veritas Forum, he encouraged skeptical graduate students to consider the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurtured Christian students in the integration of their faith and work. In 2013 he was named inaugural Dean of the Marketplace Institute, Ridley College, Melbourne, Australia.

Professor Barnes’s fellowships include: the Oxford Centre for Christianity and Culture (Regent’s Park College, Oxford) IFES (Leuven, Belgium), Ridley College (Melbourne, Australia), and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA). The Society was founded in 1754, and Charles Dickens, Adam Smith, Benjamin Franklin, Karl Marx, William Hogarth, John Diefenbaker, Stephen Hawking and Tim Berners-Lee are some of the notable past and present Fellows.

Professor Barnes’ main areas of research and teaching are: the intersections of theology and economics and faith at work. He has published numerous papers in the U.S., U.K. and Australia. His recent book projects include: Light From the Dreaming Spires: Reflections on Ministry to Gen Y (Resource Publishing) 2017; Redeeming Capitalism: Common Grace for the Common Good (Eerdmans) 2018; and “Religion and Business Ethics: Religious Perspectives on Business”, in Routledge Companion to Business Ethics (Routledge) 2018.

Dr. Barnes is married to Debby, a singer, songwriter and professional voice-over artist. They have three grown children: Bernadette, Christian and Julia.

Kenn Kelly co-founded Never Settle, a business software application and custom API provider. Kenn is a results oriented leader with a passion for quality and a deep understanding of enterprise software and web applications. Defining and building company culture are daily pursuits in business, as he believes everything stems from culture.

Kenn’s is passionate about the work he does, the people he surrounds himself with, and the community he supports through proactive leadership.

Kenneth Ewell

Chief Investment Officer | AMDG Capital

Kenny is the Chief Investment Officer of a family office focused on faith-driven investing. He has been part of the faith-driven investing and entrepreneurship movement since 2013 when he began serving on the Investment Committee of Sovereign’s Capital Fund I. Prior to his current role, Kenny worked for a global medical device company, where he executed over $500M of transactions. Previously, he worked for Quvat, a private equity firm in Southeast Asia, and J.P. Morgan’s investment bank in NYC. He received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in Economics from Princeton University.

Kenny lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two children (with a third due in April 2020!), where they are members of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.

Justin Speer

Principal and Senior Analyst | Sovereign’s Capital

Justin Speer: Justin Speer is a Principal and Senior Analyst on the Public Equities team at Sovereign’s Capital. He possesses nearly 20 years of equity research and investment experience, including over a decade investing in small- and mid-cap growth equities as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Invesco / Van Kampen and several years as a Managing Director at investment research firm Zelman & Associates. Before joining Van Kampen Investments in 2008, Justin worked as an equity research analyst with Credit Suisse. For over a decade, he has also served as a deacon in the church of Christ in Katy, Texas with responsibility for fostering World English Institute (WEI), a platform that promotes the worldwide spread of the gospel of Christ while teaching English. He was appointed as a board member of WEI in 2020. Justin has also served as a short-term missionary in Albania, Romania and Katy, Texas.
